The Resound Vivia 760 S RIC hearing aid is a rechargeable digital Receiver-in-Canal hearing aid designed for mild to severe hearing loss. In Bangladesh, the hearing aid price varies based on professional hearing tests, fitting accuracy, warranty coverage, and after-sales support from authorized hearing centers.
What Is the Resound Vivia 760 S RIC Hearing Aid?
The Resound Vivia 760 S RIC hearing aid is an advanced digital hearing solution developed to improve speech clarity while maintaining long-term comfort. As hearing care professionals, we commonly recommend RIC models like this for patients who need better speech understanding without bulky devices.
Unlike basic sound amplifiers, this hearing aid analyzes sound digitally and adjusts amplification according to the user’s hearing loss profile. This results in clearer conversations and reduced listening fatigue during daily use.
How RIC Hearing Aids Work
Why RIC Technology Is Clinically Preferred
RIC hearing aids are clinically preferred because placing the receiver inside the ear canal reduces sound distortion and improves clarity. This is particularly effective for high-frequency hearing loss, which is common among adult patients in Bangladesh.
How the Technology Works
- Microphones capture surrounding sound
- Digital processors separate speech from noise
- Noise reduction algorithms suppress unwanted sounds
- Speech signals are enhanced precisely
- The receiver delivers sound close to the eardrum
This structure performs well in noisy environments such as traffic-heavy areas, offices, and family gatherings.
Who Should Use the Resound Vivia 760 S RIC?
Based on patient profiles we regularly see in clinics, this hearing aid is suitable for:
- Adults with mild to severe hearing loss
- Professionals who struggle in meetings
- Seniors needing comfortable all-day wear
- Users shifting from disposable-battery hearing aids
- First-time hearing aid users wanting a discreet option
This model is not recommended for profound hearing loss and requires regular follow-up tuning.
Key Features Explained by a Hearing Professional
Speech Clarity Processing
Multi-channel digital processing selectively amplifies speech frequencies while keeping overall sound balanced. This prevents the common complaint that “everything sounds loud” with basic devices.
Noise Reduction System
Steady background noise such as traffic or crowd sound is automatically reduced. This lowers listening effort and improves comfort over long periods.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth enables direct streaming of phone calls and audio. Clinically, this significantly improves phone communication for many users.
Rechargeable Battery System
The built-in lithium-ion battery provides stable all-day power and reduces long-term hearing aid cost. Rechargeable models are especially helpful for seniors who find small batteries difficult to handle.
Benefits for Bangladeshi Users
- Clearer speech in noisy urban environments
- Comfortable wear in hot and humid conditions
- Reduced recurring battery expenses
- Better communication at work and social events
- Access to local fitting and tuning services
Hearing Aid Cost Breakdown (Why Prices Vary)
Hearing aid cost in Bangladesh varies due to:
